About Marcia "Katie" Ponton

Katie is an Arizona native who is a partner in a comprehensive practice that offers general financial planning and insurance services.  She is a Registered Investment Adviser Representative and offers professionally-managed investment alternatives, primarily using asset allocation and financial planning methodology.  Katie has been affiliated with Raymond James Financial Services since 2013.

Prior to her career in Financial Services, Katie spent eight years as a High School Music Educator in Chino Valley and Glendale, Arizona.  Katie is well versed with retirement options for Health Care Professionals and Educators in local and rural school districts.  She works to provide well-researched opportunities for small businesses, individuals and families.  Her primary focus is educating clients on the many options they have regarding investments, savings, retirement, college, and insurance strategies.  She provides educational events and seminars to a variety of businesses and retirement communities.

Katie received her Bachelors in Music Education from The Ohio State University.  She is a Registered Investment Advisor Representative with Series 7, 63, 65, and 9 licenses.  Additionally, she holds life and health insurance licenses in multiple states and is affiliated with the National Association of Health Underwriters in Arizona.  Raymond James is not affiliated with the National Association of Health Underwriters.
